Scott Wagner started his career in fine jewelry as an apprentice jeweler in 1974. Within the first year of his apprenticeship, Scott and a partner bought out the jeweler and went into business for themselves. Their business together thrived until Scott struck out on his own in April, 1982.
On April 1st, 1982 Scott Wagner opened his own jewelry store, naming it "Scott's Diamond Designs". That almost 26 successful years ago! Ever wonder who Scott's first employee was? His mother, Delores Wagner. Delores still works for Scott and if you've ever visited our store you'll recognize her as the saucy gal behind the front desk.
In 1987 Ray and Sharon joined the team. Before joining up with the store, Ray was a diamond salesman with 36 years experience. He is also certified by the Gemological Institute of America in Diamonds and Diamond Grading. Sharon has been keeping the books and the rest of us in order for 20 years.
As of 2007, Ray has since retired, and Tamara Wainscott, Scott's daughter, has joined the team.
